In an era producing lots of I-8s for their stability, it made sense on a few occasions to make narrow-angle 16s that took up about the same space and gave more power. Hoods weren't getting shorter.
In a '34 Ford, here, is a Marmon V16.

Yup. I used a loaded baked potato as well (Nikon D40).
